Thanks to everyone who helped to make our recent Teens for Good trip to the Dominican Republic such a success! Many school supplies and teaching aids were donated to schools through The DREAM Project and school supplies, teaching aids, toys, clothing and personal items were donated to underprivileged schools and needy children in Santo Domingo.

Teens for Good's next trip is to Mexico. School supplies, educational toys, personal care products and other items will be contributed to a daycare center for children who live in extreme poverty, and blankets and baby clothes will be donated to social programs for less fortunate new mothers at the local hospital.

ST. LUCIA

Castries Area:

Dunnottar School for physically and mentally challenged children has been adopted by the Sandals Resorts in St. Lucia. The school is located in La Pansee area of Castries and assists children who live in the north of St. Lucia. Needs include such items as pencils, pens, paper, crayons, colored pencils, backpacks, chalk, erasers, educational puzzles, rulers, flash cards, children’s books, composition books, arts & crafts supplies, children’s Tylenol, and a variety of personal hygiene items.   For more information, contact Mrs. Carolyn Archibald, Administrator of the Dunnottar School at carolynarchibald@hotmail.com. Holy Family Children's Home in Ciceron, not far from Castries, appreciates donations of children’s summer-type clothing, vitamins, children’s Tylenol, crayons, colored pencils, toys, groceries and other supplies. Dennery Area:

St. Joseph's Villa is a small home for up to 17 abandoned sick and elderly people in Dennery, a poor fishing village in St. Lucia. The Dominican Sisters who run this Villa also minister to the needy families in the area through their work at the adjoining St. Joseph's Church. The Villa is in need of medicines, toiletries, groceries and other supplies. For more information see this website.

Children's Home in Soufriere appreciates donations of summer-type clothing for teens ages 13-17 years of age, as well as vitamins, Tylenol, Motrin, backpacks, books, games, and other supplies.
